Everything begun when on Saturday I (KaMaD) met my friends, who help me with creating the www and the Fan Club: Sylwia (Orshi), Agata (GIA) and Dawid (ImTheOne). We went to a little and cosy hotel in Warsaw, which was “a little”; different from what we've seen on the pics on their web page ;) . But this was now an obstacle for us; quite the reverse, this even made our remembrance richer! In the evening we went to a nice pizza place with Nika (a Guano Apes fan from Warsaw), and we had a whale of time there. We were chatting, eating and drinking a little, in the end we shared our mails and GG numbers. In the night our four made a little party in the hotel (oh, we spilled a little ;). After two hours of sleep we had to wake up to catch the morning train to Berlin (we were in such a hurry, that we had to drink the remaining wine in the city bus). On the Warsaw East Station there were waiting Samanta with her Father, Ilonka, and on the Warsaw Central Station Olek joined us. The time in the train ran quickly. We arrived at Berlin Ost at 13.16. On the station joined us another group of Poles: Laura, Rej, Mati, Simon. In this group we toured Alexander Plaz and Branderburg Gate

On the metro station we saw an elevator running horizontally (quot. from polish movie “Nithing funny”:
‘Are you in, or are you out? What are you waiting for? You waited for a ship?!’
‘Is it going up?’
‘Where is it to go, on the left?!’
[in poland we don’t have such elevators;)] )
People on the station started to laugh, when they saw a group of poles entering to the elevator for handicapped. Later it came out that we had to go downstairs. At 16.20 we were at the Columbiahalle. To our great astonishment there were only 5 ot 6 people.A part of our team went to a pizza place, and the other part (with me) remained there, because we didn’t want to miss a good place in the queue (*see “communism in Poland”). I met Darude and his team from Portugal. We chatted about the trip and concerts. When I shown him the pics from our hotel he burst into laugh. There were plans to meet after the concert and make a little afterparty, but he had to catch his plane ;) I hope we’ll meet in the near future…Regards, Darude! Standing the line to see the show that night we freezed and silly things came to our minds (don’t ask where the girls from Guano Maniacs wanted to hide their cameras…They opened Columbiahalle at some 7tish pm. MyBaloon, the german band, was the support of the Guano Apes. One German asked us whether we were from Poland, and added that we spoke in such a funny language! When I replied “yes” he was very confused. Hennig went near the stage and smiled, when he saw Agata and Ilona waving at him. Everything was planned to start at 20.00, but MyBaloon appeared at 20.22 KWT (KaMaD’s Watch Time). They stopped at 21.00 and at 21.30 the Guano Apes appeared. They went with “Allies”. The crows started to pogo, and the results of it are bruises and blood from the Rej’s nose (here are regards for him). But we didn’t come there to stand and watch, and soon we joined and started to pogo. Because Simon from our team loves to fly at the concerts he encountered quite nice tries above the heads of the crowd. During one landing he attacked Sandra with his leg (now he is very sorry :( . He sang “Le Noix” with Sandra looking in her beautiful eyen for ten seconds! Then Sandra came closer to the crowd and sang “You can’t stop me”. She cuddled one of the fans and gave him the mic to sing with her. She repeated what she had done at the Oberhausen concert; I mean she cuddled a bodyguard.
 

Our mission was to give the t-shirts of our fan club to the band (when we ordered it for our members we decided to keep four for them). During the concert Agata took out bag with the t-shirts from her rucksack. One bodyguard was such a nice boy that he helped her to take it out (here are regards for the bodyguard ;)
Unfortunatelly we didn’t have the flag (you know, studying, examination session…),so Agata hold one sleeve of the t-shirt, I hold the other (to make our fan club visible ;).
Before Sandra sang “Le Noix” she had said that it was an international concert, because she had seen lots of flags, and she asked to put them on the stage. I said to Agata to make a ball from the t-shirt and throw it on the stage. She threw…and the t-shird landed on a speaker. Agata took another one. I advised her not to put it out of the carrier bag, but I didn’t know she heard me. Another throw, the bag flieeeed…and landed on the speakers on the scene :/ We (Agata, Samanta and I) started to shout to the bodyguards to give it to Sandra. One of them had mercy on us and put the t-shirt on the speaker, where Sandra would put her foot on, so she should see it at last…but when she put her foot on it she flang it down. So much we tried…
We took the last t-shirt out of the bag and and kept it above our heads. We waidet ‘till Sandra came at the right side of the scene to show her we’ve got something special for her and for the rest of the band. When she went on the right side we started to point our fingers on her and on the t-shirt, because she couldn’t hear us at all. Then Sandra started to giggle and nod. Then I knew she will take it from us! When she stopped to sing she smacked a bodyguard to take it! I took my camera and now I have a lovely pic of Sandra looking in the zoom-lense. Sandra hang it on the drum, so everyone could see it. All of the stuff she took will be used to decorate the scene during the February concerts, as Henning sain on the Monday chat, so I think it will be a great reward for those, who are keen on the Guano Apes.
 

In the end the band performed „Kumba YO” and a guy I don’t know singed it with Sandra (how the heck did he get to the scene?!). Finally they sang “Lords Of The Boards” (unfortunatelly, the batteries in my camera went on strike, but Agata hepled me to find another ones – thanx a lot, Agi! ). Then we jumped the pogo with all the power we had in our legs. A few minutes after 11 pm all was over :( Half an hour later Dennis and Stefan came to us. They asked us whether we are from Poland. I confirmed and added that we represented the official Fan Club. Dennis signed our train tickets. He agreed to have a pic with us, as you can see ;)

 

We gave him free time and came to Stefan. We said who we were, where we were from, etc. When he was signing Agata’s ticket he saw her t-shirt and realised, that it was that thing, which was flying above his head during the concert, and said “oh, that is the t-shirt which you threw at me; I’m sorry I put it away, but I didn’t know what it is…”

 

Then Dennis came, he also saw the t-shirt and started to talk to Stefan, that he was rude behaving rude when he kicked it. Then both of them burst into laugh. I said to Dennis that it would be great to have a pic with both of them. And he said “but I hate this crazy guy!” Few secs later we had another lovely picture with most crazy guys from the band ;)

 

In the end Dennis said „Thanks for comming for the concert, Guano Apes is a history, bye bye...”

 

The bodyguards said that we had to hurry, we had to take out jackets and we went out of Columbiahalle. Samanta didn’t understand so Dennis explained her that we are had to leave. When we left and started to go to the station Henning rushed after us. Ilonka and I weren’t sure whether it this is he, or not, but it was he! I said to him to wait a sec, because I wanted to find my marker, and he replied “OK, quickly, otherwise I’ll freeze!” ;) He was only in t-shirt!
He gave us autographs, then we had another picture with Samanta and Agata. He thanked us for coming and said “papa!”.

 

We waited a while at the car parking, where GA bus was, and we thought that we will meet Sandra, but she didn’t come to us. Only a black car rushed, probably with Sandra inside. From the concert we have drumming sticks from Dennis, autographs, and beautiful memories…
